Piraeus Leasing Bulgaria S.A. was established at the beginning of 2005 and is 100% owned by Piraeus Bank S.A. Greece. Operations are carried out through Piraeus Leasing Bulgaria S.A., as well as through Piraeus Auto Leasing S.A. Since 2006 the company became a member of the Bulgarian Association of Leasing (BAL) thus contributing to the development and improving of the legislation and the investment environment in the country.
At the end of 2008 the market share of Piraeus Leasing and Piraeus Auto Leasing on the Bulgarian lease market was 5.04%, bringing the company among the 5 leading leasing companies operating on the Bulgarian market.
At the end of 2008 Piraeus Leasing and Piraeus Auto Leasing have financed leasing deals to the amount of €266,7 mln.

Lease financing is offered for brand new and used assets.
As an independent leasing company, Piraeus Leasing Bulgaria S.A. offers to its clients the opportunity to choose by themselves the lease object and its technical characteristics and carry out all negotiations with the supplier, who will deliver the object.
Piraeus Leasing is aiming on matching its’ customers increasing requirement and needs by enlarging the range of offered lease products: financial leasing, operating leasing, stock financing for vendors, sale and lease back etc.
Among the clients of the company are some of the largest companies operating in the country, as well as a significant number of small and medium enterprises. Lease financing is also offered to individuals, mainly for passenger vehicles.
Piraeus Leasing Bulgaria grants to its clients financing, under the form of financial leasing in EUR. The repayment of the liabilities under the lease contracts is usually done in monthly installments, but special repayment schedules may be applied (for example seasonal repayment schedule, repayment schedule with grace period ect.) upon request of the client.
