Emil Angelov is taking the position of General Manager of Piraeus Leasing, Piraeus Best Leasing and Piraeus Auto Leasing and he will continue performing his obligations as Deputy CEO of Piraeus Bank Bulgaria and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank in Bulgaria and Ukraine.
Mr. Angelov has 19 years of experience in the banking field. His professional career includes the positions of Accountant, Expert, Director of Analyses and Forecasts Department, Head of Capital Markets Department and Chief of Treasury Division in Commercial Bank Biochim Bulgaria, Managing Director and Member of the BoD of Investbank Bulgaria, later Chair of the Management Board and Executive Director of Eurobank Bulgaria. After the acquisition of Eurobank by Piraeus Bank, he takes the position of Deputy CEO of Piraeus Bank Bulgaria.
Emil Angelov holds a Master Degree in Finance from the University of World and National Economy in Sofia. He has participated in series of seminars and trainings in the field of international financial management, banking and market economy. He speaks fluently English, Spanish and Russian. Mr. Angelov is one of the 32 Senior Executives of Piraeus Group who at the beginning of October 2010 completed successfully the three-year Academy for Top Managers Piraeus Leaders of Tomorrow.
